Zotly provides an AI chatbot and Zotly live chat software for businesses.
Chat Metrics LLC is the legal entity responsible for your data as the Data Controller.

When you use Zotly, we may collect:

- Billing & payment data: processed securely by Stripe (we don’t store full credit card details).
- Chat data: messages, transcripts, and user behavior on your website (to deliver conversations).
- Technical data: device info, browser type, cookies, IP address, time zone, and session logs.
- Usage analytics: anonymized metrics like chat counts, conversion rates, uptime, and performance.
We do not collect sensitive personal information (e.g., religion, medical data, biometric info).

We use your data to:
- Provide and operate Zotly.
- Set up and manage your account.
- Process payments and send invoices.
- Deliver AI and Zotly Live Chat responses.
- Improve product performance and user experience.

- Comply with legal and tax obligations.
We don’t sell or rent your data. Ever.
4. AI Data Use & Responsibility
Zotly uses third-party large language models (LLMs), including OpenAI and other providers, to generate chat responses.
Chat content and metadata may be processed temporarily by these AI partners for the purpose of generating responses only.
We ensure:
- All third-party AI providers comply with strong privacy and security controls.
- AI data is not used to train general public models.
- Personally identifiable data is anonymized or pseudonymized before processing, where possible.
However, as AI outputs are probabilistic, we recommend you review all AI-generated content before acting on it.
